The Youth Bipolar Foundation of Northern California is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit public benefit corporation. Established in 2006, YBFNC’s vision is to provide community services to youth with bipolar disorder and directly aid in their development of a greater sense of worth, hope, and belonging in the world. The entire YBFNC and Camp Opehay team is 100% volunteer.

The YBFNC Mission:
To sponsor and operate Camp Opehay, an overnight camp specifically designed to meet the unique needs of children and adolescents with bipolar disorder. Additionally, to develop and implement new therapeutic, recreational, low/no cost community programs and fund related research.
